Starman

Director John Carpenter presents a romantic science fiction odyssey starring Jeff Bridges as an innocent alien from a distant planet who learns what it means to be a man in love. When his spacecraft is shot down over Wisconsin, Starman (Bridges) arrives at the remote cabin of a distraught young widow, Jenny Hayden (Karen Allen), and clones the form of her dead husband. The alien convinces Jenny to drive him to Arizona, explaining that if he isn't picked up by his mothership in three days, he'll die. Hot on their trail are government agents, intent on capturing the alien, dead or alive. En route, Starman demonstrates the power of universal love, while Jenny rediscovers her human feelings for passion. Approx. 115 minutes.

Four Rode Out

Tough, dedicated U.S. Marshall Ross (Pernell Roberts), is up against two men, one on each side of the law! The outlaw he is chasing just robbed a bank in Texas and killed the guard. Also hot on the robbers trail is Pinkerton Detective Brown (Leslie Nielson) who believes in killing the man he is chasing! Across the dusty plains of Texas and into Mexico, Ross attempts to find the young bank robber (Julian Mateos) and bring him back to justice before the aggressive Pinkerton man delivers a faster western-style hanging justice! The Great Outdoors

When an unannounced, uninvited and unwelcome family of fun-loving misfits converge upon a lakeside resort to join their relatives for a summer of relaxation, the result is anything but restive in this raucous comedy starring Dan Aykroyd and John Candy. It's a vacationer's worst nightmare, as wheeler-dealer Aykroyd, his sexually repressed wife and eerie twin daughters "join" the easy-going Candy and his straight-laced clan for a season of "fun" in the sun. Unfortunately, the only thing these two in-laws have in common is their intense dislike for each other. Soon, it's brother-in-law against brother-in-law in an uproarious and hilarious fight to the finish to see which one really knows how to enjoy The Great Outdoors. Approx 1 hour 31 minutes.

The Negotiator

Bird On A Wire
